The role

What a ComePay
Agent actually does

You become the bank for your neighbourhood. People come to your shop to withdraw cash, send money, buy airtime and pay bills — and you earn a commission on every single one.

It works alongside whatever you already sell. Most of our agents run a provisions store, a pharmacy, a phone shop or a market stall, and the terminal simply brings more people through the door.

You pay customers out of your own float and ComePay credits your wallet immediately, so your money is never tied up.

Questions

Good to know

Is the ₦10,000 a fee?

No — it stays your money. It's the float you trade with, sitting in your own ComePay wallet. You need it so you can hand cash to your first customer before ComePay credits you. The terminal itself is completely free with no rental.

Do I need a registered business?

No. You don't need CAC registration or a guarantor. A valid ID, a BVN and a fixed outlet are enough. Market traders, kiosk owners and shop owners are all welcome.

How much will I actually earn?

It depends entirely on footfall. An agent doing 40 transactions a day earns roughly ₦43,000 a month; a busy spot doing 150 a day earns considerably more, a quiet one much less. The calculator above uses our real commission rates, but treat the figure as an estimate rather than a promise.

When does my commission arrive?

Within minutes of each transaction, straight into your ComePay wallet. You can withdraw it to your bank, spend it with your card, or leave it in your float to keep trading.

What if the network goes down?

The terminal stores transactions locally and pushes them through when the connection returns, so you keep trading through an outage instead of turning customers away.

Can I be an agent alongside another provider?

Yes. Many agents run terminals from more than one provider and choose whichever gives the better rate on a given transaction. There's no exclusivity requirement.
